Lime Mojito: Fresh, Fizzy, and Mint-to-Be

Welcome to your "barefoot in the backyard with a breeze and a glass" moment.

This classic Lime Mojito is giving cool, crisp, and completely unbothered. She’s fresh, fizzy, and packed with minty-lime goodness—basically summer in a glass. Whether you're hosting a backyard BBQ or just trying to feel something while standing next to a fan, this is your go-to.

We’re talking five ingredients (six if you count the sunshine) and one very fabulous result.

What You’ll Need (1 Serving)

  • 2 oz white rum
Go with something clean and light—nothing too aged or fancy.

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)

  • 2 tsp sugar or sweetener to taste

  • 8–10 fresh mint leaves

  • Sparkling water
(Topo, LaCroix, or whatever’s cold in your fridge)

  • Ice

  • Garnish: mint sprig + lime wheel

Let’s Make It

1. Muddle the mint:
In a glass, add mint, sugar (or syrup), and lime juice. Gently muddle to release the mint oils—no need to go full Hulk here, just a little press and swirl.

2. Add the rum:
Pour in the white rum and give it a quick stir to combine.

3. Ice + fizz:
Fill the glass with ice and top with sparkling water. Stir again gently—don’t kill the bubbles!

4. Garnish cute:
Add a fresh mint sprig and lime wheel. Optional but highly encouraged: a striped straw and a shady seat outdoors.

🥂Hosting Tip:

Batching for a group?

  • Muddle your mint with sugar and lime juice in a pitcher

  • Add rum and chill until ready to serve

  • Pour over ice and let guests top with their own sparkling water for max fizz

You just made cocktail hour look very easy.

🍸 Cheers, Ilda
